Welcome, High School Students, to the USADic Registration Page!

Choose Your Division

Our competition divides students into 3 divisions. The divisions are designed to ensure participants compete against those of a similar academic stature. Some schools have an official Academic Decathlon® program and some do not. Read the criteria and select your division.

Division I

  • Attends high school in the United States
  • High school does NOT have an Academic Decathlon® program
This division caters to high school students who are not involved in the Academic Decathlon® team competition. It is designed for those attending schools that do not participate in Academic Decathlon®, including homeschooled and virtual students.

Division II

  • Attends high school in the United States
  • High school has an Academic Decathlon® program
If you are not a competing member of your team, like an alternate, this is your division.
If your school's team has been eliminated from Academic Decathlon® competition, this is your division.
Students in this division will already have USAD curriculum materials.

Division III

  • International high school students
  • Does NOT attend high school in the United States
This division is designed for international high school students who wish to participate from outside the United States.
Students from the People's Republic of China: You will have a custom registration. Please contact us and advise you are from China if you are interested in participating.
